I posted this on my IG story & Facebook the other day, and it seemed to resonate with a lot of people.
One woman even shared her transparency trying the carnivore diet for 30 days and how she found herself wanting to pull over at Dunkin Donuts CRAVING carbohydrates like crazy.
Often during consults clients tell me “so when I did _____ diet it worked really well for me”
Except…it obviously didn’t. There is a reason for that.
Part of being consistent is finding a way of eating that you can sustain for the rest of your life. It doesn’t need a label, or a name. High carb, low carb, high fat, low fat…as long as it is appropriate for YOUR goals and you feel good it doesn’t matter.
Like I said when I defined consistency- 95% of people who go on a “diet” gain all the weight back, with 66% of people gaining MORE than what they started with.
Sometimes finding what works for you requires a lot of time.
People want cheap, fast & quality and those 3 don’t come as a package deal.
If you want to stop the restrict and binge cycle, the chronic dieting cycle, the lose and gain 10lbs cycle, I’m your girl. If you are looking for cheap and fast, I’m definitely not.
Once you are ready to commit to the long game, you will set yourself up for success that lasts longer than a few months.
Do you need help so you can reach your goals?
